What books do you guys read? We love books, particularly books about pugs, but really any books. My mom likes to read a whole lot and she would really really like it if you guys would recomend some great books to her (and by proxy, ME!) I'm not really sure when she thinks she's gonna have time to read said recommended books seeing as how she CAN"T EVEN FIND THE TIME TO BLOG ANYMORE! Bark Bark Bark! But anyways, I still love her. And I still love all of you guys too. Sorry that we haven't been on here much. We really really do plan to rectify that as soon as this really crazy semester is over. We love you all and we miss you all! We would like to send out our love to Tweedles, S-Dog, Pearl, Tuni, Sequoia, Daisy, Lilo, Harry, Lulu, Josie, Izzy, Katy, Anakin, Winston, Stubby, Emmitt, Jemima, Hank, Molly, Gen and the Foo, Wilma, Coco, Kitty+Coco, Paco, Yoda, Brutus, DW (an honorary pug), Oakly and Swisher, Our new friends Lola, and the teachers pets and anyone else we forgot...We love you and thak you for being our friends!!!

Arlo, buddy.....I don't read so good.
BUTT....my mom's faverite book is "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole.
It won a Poolitzer in 1981. It's real kooky, if ya like that kinda stuff.
PEE S: Thanks fer the shoutout!
Hi Arlo!!
Mom's favorite Author is Mary Higgins Clark - she would recommend any and all of her books :)
Pugs & Kisses,
Yoda & Brutus
Hi Arlo! It's so nice to hear from you!
I will spare you my mom's book choices. They all involve vampires, wizards, or other ridiculous stuff. She has low standards in the reading department!
Oh! Momma DID recently read some mystery novels that she thought were really awesome. They're by Tana French. 'In the Woods' and 'The Likeness'.
xoxoxo
Hi Arlo!
Mom's favorite book is Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger (big surprise, eh?).
BUT....
in every day life, she reads trashy chick lit stuff that usually has a high heel shoe, purse, lipstick or a dress on the cover. We HIGHLY recommend anything by Jen Lancaster if mom likes a good belly laugh!!!!!
Love,
S-Dog
Arlo! Well mom hasn't even read her book she got like a month ago. Its a csi type book so no puggies there. We hope your mom finds a good read, msaybe she can blog about it!!
Hugs,
S&P
Hey Arlo, thanks for the shout out, our mom is a slacker blogger too, our auntie V took over helping us post and mom comments for us, its a big job so they had to spread it around, and they still are slow but we check in with our pals when we can.
Anyway, mom LOVES to read, she reads a lot of different genres but to your mom she'd like to recommend "The Art of Racing in the Rain" it is a good book for dog lovers.
Some of mom's favorite authors are Harlan Coben, Michael Connelly, Phillippa Gregory, Alafair Burke...we'll make her stop now because she could go on and on. Hope we helped.
Lots of Licks-
Oak and Swish
Oh mum luvs books. She has lots of favourites but one that stands out the most is Water for Elephants. Mum luved that book. The Kite Runner is also good and so is The Girl with the Pearl Earring.
Well, Arlo, there's a book called Dogerella that you might like -- it has a pug in it! It's one of those Step 3 reading books for kids. Now for your mom, well, I'm sure she knows that I like to read (I did mention I got my masters in English Lit, right? :p) Anywhoo, I've been enjoying reading some non literary reads, and if your mom's in school studying, she might need a break, too. I like the books by Sophie Kinsella (the Shopaholic series and the others she's written under that name, too), and I also like a set of pet-sitter mysteries by Linda O. Johnston. The Spenser novels by Robert B. Parker are quick reads, and of course Spenser is an literate PI so they're better than some trashy PI mysteries. I've also been reading more non fiction books lately, too, in history and science.
Well, I am just now seeing this post, but I love to read. Check out Elizabeth Kostova for a great vampire read. Michelle Moran for ancient Egypt stories. All of Frank Peretti's books, and on the same line the book "Immanuel's Veins". Super. Also any of Francine Rivers for great fiction. Lastly, just for fun, read the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz. Enjoy!
