Hi everybody! I want to tell you about my Saturday. Moms and I get up and we're like, 'ok, we're bored' so we decide the best place to go when you're bored is the Dogpark. When we get there, there are like a bazillion cars and dogs everywhere, but we decide go to the dogpark first so that I get to play there for a while. I made lots of new friends, including a beautiful pug named Ka-choo. See her? I also met a shih-tzu named cocoa.
Ka-choo was shy at first, but she eventually came over and introduced herself. I showed her how to use the doggie water fountains.
Moms and I were talking to the other people at the dogpark about why there were sooo many cars and what was going on and one of the other peoples at the dogpark told my moms 'it's woofstock 2009' Woofstock? Wow moms! You picked a great day to go to the dogpark!
So we decided to head over there. There were all kinds of tents and animal adoptions and doggie crafts. At one of the tents I met the biggest pug I've ever seen.

my favorite person!
Hey guys and gals! Arlo here and I want to tell you all about my favorite person in the world...my Moms! I luuuuv her! She fell in love with pugs a long time ago and she used to be so sad and lonely because she didn't have a pug to love. Then my uncle got a pug (luke) and she tried to cheer up by playing with my cousin dogs and reading all the wonderful dog blogs...but it just wasn't the same. Who was gonna keep her warm at night and help her clean up the kitchen floor? There was no one. So sad for moms. And then one day the whole family agreed that she should have a pug of her own, she came to my birth house and Chose me!!!!! (actually, I was hoping she would choose me, so I turned on the ole' pugger charm, and snuggled my hardest so she would think I was the cutest!!!) I am sooo glad because she spoils me rotten with toys and treat and taking me places! I am soooo glad that I have my moms and she has me, her loving little puggy, arlo!

On Sunday Morning, we woke up early and went to...the DOGPARK!! Yesss!
I was soo excited, I just couldn't sit still.
I could hear and see the other dogs and I was ready to get my play on! Come on moms!! Move it!
Wheeee!!!! Here I come dogs!!
Ohhh sooo (*yawn*) much (*yawn*) fun!!!
Sunday Night, we went to a barbecue at my uncle and auntie's house. It was fun for both the dogs and the peoples!. (Mom's note: It always makes me laugh when I take Arlo up there because it's like a game of "which one of these things is not like the others".)
Me and Cousin Luke was chewin on our toys.

this week's adventures...
I had an awesome week! Friday, we went to the dog park for the first time (And I forgot my camera!). It was sooo much fun! (I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever see him again, but he came back to check on us after a while.) Saturday, I went to the lake with my cousins and had a blast playing with them in the water (and I forgot my camera!). And today, I got a new dog bed!
Snug as a bug in a rug!And then we went to see grandma, and she gave me this manly spike collar. I loves it! I think it will definitely improve my chances with the ladies!
Well...that's all for now, and hopefully the next time we go to the dog park or the lake, Moms will take our pictures!

Shots
Arlo's mom here...
Poor Arlo. He went to the vet today to get his shots. He had to get two, dhlpp and rabies, but he's all vaccinated and up to date for a whole year. He Also got his license from the city, so he's all legal. But then, after a nap, we went to a family dinner where he was soooo good! He was polite, and sweet, he did some of his tricks, and he helped clean up the floor. (:P) I am sooo proud! I wish I had brought my camera!! What a great dog! If you want a great dog, get a Pug!

everyday adventures
Arlo's mom here...
Not much has been happening in our household. We've been homebodies for the past few weeks, so we've only had ourselves regular, run-of-the-mill, everyday adventures.
First Adventure...Arlo got a new toy. I call it his "busy bee" because of the movie Best in Show (Hilarious movie with a great pug scene by the way). He loves his busy bee!
Second Adventure...Here he is modeling his goggles. He's actually wearing them in this picture, but don't be fooled. They won't stay on, his nose is too small and they are shaped weird. I'm gonna have to break down and buy him some doggles. He looks like a little kid pretending to be a super hero.
Lastly...Here is Arlo swimming in the garden tub! He was having a blast! It was soooo hot outside today that when he came in from going outside he was panting and trying to lay in his water bowl, so I decided it was a good time to go swimming! It worked beautifully to cool him off and after he was running and playing with renewed vigor. I'm jealous. I wish I was small enough to go swimming in a tub.
